The rumors of my demise have been grossly exaggerated. I mean come on, a combine accident? yuck
To dispel these misconceptions, it has been suggested that I post more frequently to show that I am in fact, alive. Maybe even answer an e-mail or two.
Current events: work sucks. I would have titled this paragraph 'news' but there is nothing new about that.
Ellice and I have found a new pasttime (yes even newer than our version of skipbo)--Spades on pogo!!
Great fun--and we don't look at each other's screens 'even a little.'
The site is http://www.pogo.com
My favorite games there are chess, spades, word whomp and tumblebees.
Ellice took her test Saturday and while it is always great to be around her, things are nevertheless friendlier these days in stately Gullett Manor...

are you saying I wasn't freindly before saturday?
Um, yes, I think that is what he's saying.
If you need to leave him for such rude words, I have a bed in the cold up North for you!
Since you are leaving work in October and the semester will already be in session, does this mean you will have two months off free and clear? That would give you lots of time to write.
I don't want to go where it is cold, besides have you not been reading my blog, I think I can forgive him thinking I was unfrendly.
That would be nice, Tami, but if he subs on a daily basis, he can start any time (after Board approval). I spent 3 years as a sub, and my first year I started in October.
But I agree with what you're essentially saying: Brad can take entire days off just to write. His loving wife will support him and encourage him and then get him to sub for her so she can have a day off to write, too!
Yeah well now that I am the sugar momma he don't have to work as often so he can write and earn a little money on the side..see this is a good plan all around, and he won't start college until the fall
I think he died again.
I'd have to agree. I mean, he only writes like once a century. Okay, about once every fortnight or so, but in blog years, that's a century. And being so sick, I can't imagine he'd have energy to do brilliantly productive husband things around the house when he gets home from work...the perfect opportunity to get online and unleash a bunch of angst...and updates and stuff like that.
