The One in May

I'm probably going to only get one blog in this month, thus the title.

Laurana landed in the hospital last Friday with the stomach bug going around. It's Wednesday and she's just now acting like her usual adventurous, smiley self. It's good to have her back.

I think I've hit on a rhythm in writing. My goal is 2500 words/ week. That boils down to 500 per day, 5 days/week. I find that word count for a goal is better for me than a page or chapter count, especially with work and all that's going on. The 5 days/wk is to try and get me in the habit of producing like a work week. Some day we may do this fulltime, so I have to train myself. It's a dream I have.

I'll sign up for NaNoWriMo closer to this year; probably in October. I'm still hashing out the draft that I won with in November. I'm looking forward to the free professionally made manuscript that was part of the prize. I have until July to submit the draft.

Looking forward to Iron Man 2. Probably will watch it next Saturday after we get paid again.

Pray for us on the job front; we both want to keep/improve ours (just like everyone else, I guess).

Take care and God bless

So is this a new story while you edit the NaNoWriMo story? Are these related stories or two totally different things? Are any of them the 'half-elf' quest one that I read before or are they all new?

As you can tell, I'm fascinated by anyone who actually pursues this since I keep putting it off, and by anyone who actually has an original concept that doesn't involve fan fiction or star themselves (both of which I am extremely good at). On the other hand, I'm still wanting to edit my first fan fic, plus finish the story your wife and I left unfinished, even if we're the only one who'll read it. Anyway...proud of you and happy your daughter is feeling better! Does she have her own unique personality or do you see resemblances to you or Ellice? (Not features, personality.) :)

This is another animal altogether. For the Nanowrimo, I did something brand new. It's about a warrior, a whisperer, and a weaver (spellweaver). It has promise.
