Well, here we go again. Nanowrimo. And Melissa, you know that you wanted me to take a crack at an Eris novel? That's what I'm attempting this year. Hope you like my treatment of it. I'm excited this time around as its my first serious stab at a modern novel. Oh and Tiff, I intend to have Leanne in this one as well. Hope you all like. My daily goal is 1,667 words and the first day I hit 1781. Not too shabby. I'm going into this season with a lot of confidence as I won last year. Let's make it two in a row.
Don't watch Hot Tub Time Machine. Too much language and drugs. I was quite disgusted by it. The Blind Side was fair, but I didn't see what all the fuss was about.
Last Days of Krypton by Kevin Anderson
A fresh take on the tale of Superman's home planet. Anderson integrates most of the big story lines from Krypton like General Zod, Jax-ur, Brainiac, Jor-el, Lara, and Zor-el (Jor-el's brother and Kara's father-Supergirl for you non-DC fans). I had a fun time with this book and seeing Anderson's slant on the legend. A fun read. ***

Mwahahaa....sucked you in to Eris after all....just make sure Leann is sexier than I am, otherwise it is sooo no fun.
So I get used to nothing since May and I miss some good stuff!
Proud of you for blogging, prouder still that you're writing, pleasantly amused and pleased that it's an Eris. I've been wanting to try one of those again, since I'm so far removed from them. However, I'd like to get "Homecoming" finished, but it was your wife's turn to write. Is she planning to finish or should I just see if I can make it work?
Tiff, you and Leann are both awesome! But does 'Brad' have an alter ego or is he content leaving Elyse with James?
So......am I getting a novel for Christmas? : )
ENJOY some time off with that beautiful wife and daughter of yours!!!
Ahem. Weren't you supposed to mail me some writing, sir? We have a snow day today, so no excuses!!!
